As we move toward a more sustainable future, recycling and zero-waste processes are critical components of the circular economy. By transforming metal scraps in any form—whether from CNC machining, granulates, or irregularly shaped materials—into high-quality, reusable materials, we’re not only enhancing our technological capabilities but also supporting global sustainability goals. These innovations align with international economic objectives set at global summits, addressing both environmental and industrial needs.

Our Innovative Approach to Sustainable Aluminum Powder Production
At 3D Lab, we go beyond conventional recycling methods to transform metal scraps into premium aluminum powder. Our Induction Melting System (IMS) provides two versatile options for processing materials:
- Crucible Method
Using a 300 cm³ crucible, we melt aluminum scraps, which are then atomized by an ultrasonic system, transforming them into high-quality powder. The crucible confines impurities and oxidized materials, ensuring an exceptionally pure final product. - Rod Melting Method
Alternatively, we can melt aluminum rods without direct contact, which completely eliminates contamination risk.
In both methods, electromagnetic induction melts the material, which is then directed to the ultrasonic atomization platform to produce fine, industry-standard powder. Both options offer high efficiency, repeatability, and the flexibility to match specific material requirements while aligning with sustainability standards.
Key Advantages of Metal Recycling:
- Resource Conservation:
Recycling reduces reliance on mining, helping to preserve natural resources. - Energy Efficiency:
Recycled metals require far less energy to process compared to raw materials, resulting in cost savings. - Waste Reduction:
Recycling diverts significant amounts of waste from landfills, minimizing environmental impact. - Lower Greenhouse Gas Emissions:
Less energy usage means fewer emissions during production. - Economic Impact:
Recycling not only creates jobs but also lowers manufacturing costs by providing affordable raw materials.
